The Simulator Center KSG|GfS will assist AREVA to train the Olkiluoto-3 operators
February 24, 2017The Simulator Center sends one of its experienced instructors to Finland. He will conduct training for the shift personal at the plant specific full scope simulator for one year. TVO just recently announced that the full scope simulator testing has been completed, which was an important milestone for the project.
The new reactor Olkiluoto-3 is currently scheduled to start operation in 2018. It will deliver a power of 1600 MWe.
The Simulator Center is happy to contribute its experience to a safe operation of the new EPR.
