1st European Power Plant Simulator Users Conference – Lookback
September 11, 2017The 1st European Power Plant Simulator Users Conference took place at 7.-8. September at the Energy-Campus-Deilbachtal in Essen, Germany.
The new conference format put the focus on more presentations on the additional value of a simulator for power plant users, besides simulator training and was very well accepted by the over 30 participants of the conference. We would like to thank all participants for the interesting conversations and discussions. Special thanks to the co-hosts of the conference, GSE Performance Solutions Inc. and KRAFTWERKSSCHULE E.V. and to Fortum, who has presented its newest Virtual/Augmented Reality -Technology.
The Simulator Center KSG|GfS draws a very positive conclusion from this communicative and informative event, where good, new contacts were made and old partnerships were maintained. Based on this background a continuation of the conference is forseen.
