Brazilian Navy Guest at KSG/GfS

For the fourth time already we could welcome the Brazilian Navy for participating in a two-week PWR basic course at the simulator centre this year.

The future trainers of the nuclear submarine section paid close attention to the lessons held in English, which in addition to the basics of reactor physics and thermodynamics also included Human Performance topics.

As in the previous years the focus of the training was placed on practical exercises in the simulator centre. Apart from the training at the simulator, the course participants of the “Marinha do Brasil” were particularly looking forward to the exercises at our reactor glass model.

For the first time in this course, an exercise in the field of Human Performance took place, which the course participants completed with great interest at our stationary HPO training facilities.

Again and again the courses within the framework of our cooperation are regarded as a successful event by the simulator trainers as well as by the participants.

We are already looking forward to the next visit of the Brazilian Navy in the simulator centre!
