Technical Training

We offer training for the operation of large power plants – specifically nuclear power plants.

This training requires a comprehensive knowledge of process technology, instrumentation and control systems and the dynamic behaviour of all plant systems.

For this purpose special emphasis is placed on the set-up of power plant systems, control, measuring and feedback technology as well as the physical behaviour of the plant in all conceivable operating conditions, from malfunctions to beyond-design-basis incidents.

Today the Simulator Centre employs about 40 process engineers – engineers or physicists – who have this knowledge. They are licensed to teach different nuclear power plant technologies, instrumentation and control systems, process control computer systems and the professional behaviour for process control.
